CORTI LAB
Our Research Center
Researchers in the Corti laboratory are committed to making meaningful contributions to the study and treatment of neurological disorders. We are based mainly in the Sforza building on Foundation IRCCS Ca' Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico. We also carry out work a the Invernizzi Building.
Our Lab is interested in understanding the molecular laws that govern the neurodegeneration in the cerebral cortex and spinal cord. It integrates molecular and translational knowledge to investigate therapies for brain repair and for modeling neurological diseases.
The Team
The team engages brilliant young scientific minds in a translational approach to the study of neurological diseases. By taking new leads and tools from neuron biology, and testing and applying them to models of disease, as well as to clinical research in people, the Corti Lab facilitates the speedy transfer of research and preclinical findings to patients in the hope of finding effective therapy.
